about
11. MOLLY IN THE WINDOW/CUPS AND MUGS (4:48): The first tune was written by Riley, and named for Seattle banjo player Molly Tenenbaum, seen sitting in a window at the Festival of American Fiddle Tunes. Cups and Mugs was written on the spot by Sami (with chordal assistance from Leo and Riley) during a live performance when we were somehow tired of playing tunes that we already knew.

Ken Landreth is one of my favorite banjo players of all time. This whole album is amazing! Makes me miss those hot sunny days in the Mt. Airy flatlands watching these guys shred. altacke

This rendition of Virgil Anderson's "Jenny Hang the Kettle On" is wonderful. It perfectly grabs the simplistic beauty of Virgil's version, but has such clarity. Amazing album! Payton Scott
